Catholic Lawyers’ Society & Legal Aid Hold “Law Awareness Programme”

Sunday 29 July 2007 – St. Anne Church, Port Klang

The Catholic Lawyers’ Society, KL together with the Selangor Bar Legal Aid Centre held a “Law Awareness Programme” at the Church of St. Anne in Port Klang, Selangor. That legal clinic was held on the last day of St. Anne’s feast that was celebrated for a week long at the said Church.

Our President, Chrishanthini Sebastiampillai and a few Society members such as Lancelot Rozario, David Charles, Annou Xavier, Kemkumar Lopez, Selvarajah together with members of the Selangor Legal Aid centre were present from 9am to 5pm to render legal advise ranging from labour law to arrest & bail, sales & purchase agreement, mediation, family law, road accidents and other areas of law.

Many parishioners and patron, local and afar, visited the booth jointly set up by CLS and Legal Aid centre to seek free legal advise. This is one if the many social activities organised or jointly-organised by the Society.
